【Smart Construction Pilot 】 Notice of partial malfunction of the tablet application (2025/4/24)

Dear Smart Construction 3D Machine Guidance Users

We are writing to inform you of a bug in Smart Construction Pilot (Tablet App) v1.0.11/V1.0.11.1 released on April 9 (Wed.) and 11 (Fri.), 2025.

Issue:

When using the payload meter, the message “Set the weight of the bucket and then perform the Unloaded Calibration.” is displayed after upgrading the tablet app.

Cause:

Due to the addition of the tilt-rotator function, some of the bucket parameter items have been changed and cannot be imported properly, and the bucket weight is determined to be not set. Then requiring the bucket weight to be reset and the unloaded calibration to be performed.

Temporary action:

After resetting the bucket weight, perform unloaded calibration. Please note that the same error will occur even after the bucket is changed.

Permanent action:

We are planning to release a countermeasure application for the above problem in mid-May.

Supplementation:

We have confirmed a different issue related to the above version update, in which the message “Set the weight of the bucket and then perform the Unloaded Calibration.” is displayed when the controller is started up after the payload meter of the tablet application has been running for more than one minute.

This problem can be resolved by restarting the tablet app with task kill, etc. and reloading the settings from the controller, since the settings from the previous unloaded calibration were not loaded correctly. We are planning to release a countermeasure for this issue on the application side in the future, although the timing is undecided.
