SSID (Service Set Identifier) is the name of the radio wave from a wireless device to identify used access point on the device.
Explanation
When communicating using a device such as a Wi-Fi router, it is used to specify which parent device (access point) that is the source of the radio wave is used.
For example, suppose you are in a situation where can communicate wirelessly with multiple access points. The SSID is used as indication to choose which of these multiple access points to communicate with.
The SSID (Wi-Fi name) and Password (password) are listed on the device.
